Strange Days Wine

Class project

To compliment the brand name, Strange Days, I focused this branding and labeling on a comedic, illustrative style which would cut through in a crowded marketplace and stand out on a bottle shop shelf. I achieved this with the use of cheesy puns, bright colours and quirky illustrations that appeal to youthful, literate and educated audience that appreciate a sense of comedy with the alcohol they drink.

Focusing on words like strange, weird, unique, and unnatural, the stars of this brand are these quirky cat and dog characters, holding glasses of wine and saying those cheesy puns, pulling on peoples heart strings with the pets they love so dearly. But what if they could walk and talk like us? A strange thought isn’t it.

One of the featured puns, “Today has been ruff!” drives home that feeling of being tired at the end of a day of work and desperately needing a glass of wine (while also being something a dog would definitely say if they could).

The social posts give a sneak peek into the quirky dog and cat characters and shows an interaction and relation between the characters personalities and our own!
